There are moments in life when we stand at a threshold. Not because we want to leave everything behind, but because something is calling us. A pull toward our own light. And for me, it is about finding my tribe.
Choosing Light
I recently had a conversation with a mentor of mine that opened something important inside me. I shared the feeling of guilt — the fear of being selfish — because I am now choosing to follow my own path. Because I am choosing to connect with people who already are aware of their own light, instead of offering my energy where intuition isn’t yet part of the conversation.
She met me. She saw me. And she said something that landed in me:
“Now is your opportunity.”
I knew it was true, but there is something about having it reflected in another person. It is something about being met. Being met is about being seen — fully, without needing to overly explain, defend, or shrink. She did that, and I can feel my path even more clearly now. I can choose to be with people who are honest, who see me, and who are ready to receive my light. I am choosing to honor what is alive in me now.
Meeting Myself Through Another
Maybe the deeper truth is she met me because I had already chosen to meet myself. She reflected back the support I had quietly decided to offer within. She and I are part of the same tribe. And if these words resonate with you, maybe you are too.
I choose joy, resonance, and light.
This choice is a permission to grow without folding myself down out of old loyalty or guilt. And to anyone else standing at their own threshold: It is not wrong to choose your own light. Your light is what we need. And you choosing it, that is love.
It is love — toward the life that wants to grow through you.
