Being and
Becoming
My Story
My perspective on life is deeply influenced by Eastern philosophies, guiding my journey since graduating in 2001. I pursued studies in Metaphysics and Philosophy of Consciousness at the University of Oslo, where I realized that true wisdom is measured by its embodiment. This understanding inspired me to become a certified yoga teacher through the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. My passion for this field led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity and Health, followed by a Master’s in Sports Psychology and Coaching.
Having been involved in action sports since childhood, I became a snowboard coach at 15 and went on to certify new instructors. A pivotal year in Brazil allowed me to work as a college lecturer in anatomy and movement while coaching capoeira and jiu-jitsu. During my master’s studies, I discovered Flow theory, which sparked my meditation practice aimed at enhancing flow and expanding consciousness. In 2012, I traveled to Spain to become a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher. I co-published a research article on motivation and autonomy, which led to an invitation to present in New York.
I began giving lectures on mindfulness, creating guided meditations, and facilitating MBSR courses while continuing my yoga studies with Shiva Rea in Los Angeles. My journey took me to a cabin in the forest, where I explored movement by blending my experiences in capoeira, martial arts, yoga, and improvisation. This exploration inspired me to pursue professional training in contemporary dance. I then aligned my body more closely with my identity as a man/non-binary.
I bought a house by the forest and my creativity exploded; I delved into music production and nature photography while continuing to dance. Eventually, I moved to the ocean and joined the National Theatre as an actor. After two enriching years, I launched a nature photography print store and competed in ballroom dancing. I now work in a children’s care home.
Throughout this journey, I have coached individuals in various sports, meditation, dance, and yoga, alongside my work as a personal trainer. My strength lies in meeting people with deep presence and active listening, helping them identify fear-based behaviors and discover opportunities for aligned action.
